Going into his first high school year, what seemed to be a joke at first, Tashan pitch the idea of a clothing brand to his older brother and older cousin. They all joked about it until Markiem, the older cousin began to be serious about what Tashan said. Markiem’s determination brought all three of them to come to a realization that it was possible, and with three creative minds working together on one part of the brand, they came up with Starplus.

Our Motivation
Coming up with a name for our brand had to be the hardest part. We went through many different names, but none of them fit with what we were looking for until we thought “Starplus.” Reach for the stars plus more and shine beyond the limits. What we want for our people that wear our brand is to be motivated to keep going and strive for greatness in whatever they do.
What does Starplus mean?
The Making
Starplus represents the idea of reaching for the stars and then going beyond them. It stands for chasing whatever you want in life without settling for the bare minimum. The name is meant to inspire our community to dream bigger, work harder, and shine like a star in everything they do. Starplus is more than a brand; it's a reminder to push past limits, stay driven, and find motivation and relatability in the journey toward something greater.
